Service Process
1. Appointment & On-Site Survey
The Seabra Movers team will schedule a visit to your location to assess the items that need to be moved. This includes evaluating the volume of belongings, the layout of the property, and access points. Based on the inspection, we will select the most suitable transport vehicle and identify items requiring special handling (such as large furniture, items that need disassembly, or fragile objects). All gathered information will be used to create a carefully planned moving strategy and provide a suitable cost estimate. You may then select a convenient date and time for the move.
2. Moving Plan Preparation
2.1 Time Assessment, Scheduling & Route Planning
Our team will estimate the time required to move your belongings from the origin to the destination. We will then confirm the moving date, time, and the most efficient route to ensure punctuality and safe transportation. Route planning will also consider accessibility and convenience at the destination.
2.2 Item Sorting & Packaging Preparation
Seabra Movers will prepare a professional team along with appropriate packing materials such as corrugated boxes, bubble wrap, protective film, and high-quality packaging supplies.Items will be sorted based on category and importance—for example, items to be moved, items not to be moved, valuables, important documents, or items requiring special care. This ensures maximum protection and reduces the risk of damage.
2.3 Moving Insurance
Customers may choose to purchase additional moving insurance for protection against loss or damage during transportation, providing added confidence and peace of mind throughout the moving process.
3. Packing of Belongings
Household Items & Fragile Objects For kitchenware and fragile items such as plates, glassware, jewelry, and general household goods, the team will begin by wrapping each item with paper, followed by bubble wrap, and reinforced with cardboard cut to shape. Items will then be placed securely into boxes to prevent damage during transit.
Large Furniture & Decorations For large furniture and decorative items such as shelves, paintings, artwork, or oversized pieces, the team will wrap them with paper and bubble wrap before securing them inside wooden crates or foam-lined boxes tailored to fit the size and shape of each item, ensuring maximum protection.
Clothing Clients may choose their preferred packing method—either folding clothes into cardboard boxes or hanging them in specialized wardrobe boxes. Moisture-absorbing packets will be added to all boxes to help control humidity and protect belongings throughout the move.
